Josie Barnes is one of the areas best loved and respective cooks.

Former owner of the original “Old Stable Restaurant” in Fakenham, Josie built a reputation for great quality home cooked fair.   With customers that sometimes felt more like family members, Josie had a large following which included visitors from far afield that always sought  her special cuisine, and homely approach to her art whenever they visited the area.

Although no longer plying her trade on a daily basis, Josie has a unique skill that she delights in sharing with others, with this in mind we are delighted to have Josie reproducing many of the fantastic culinary delights that made her such a star in North Norfolk.

Over the next few months, Josie will appear here with “video kitchens” that you can follow to aid you in sampling some of her delightful recipes.
